In this session, Josiah DeGraaf will cover what it looks like for a story to depict the world honestly, how to spot common pitfalls that paint a deceptive picture of the world, and how to help clients balance depicting darkness honestly alongside depicting it in light of Christ’s ultimate victory. We’ll also cover how to spot the unstated (and sometimes unintentional) messages in your client’s work and how to help a client better communicate their story’s message without sermonizing.
