Damian Last was born into the author world through his lifelong struggle with tolerating NYT bestsellers that seemed to be slap-dashed together yet were selling bazillions of copies. If those were good enough, maybe he could do better. As a natural DIYer, the road to publishing led Damian to building a website for himself. That’s when the embers of creativity truly caught fire.
Visual design, persuasive language, user experience, intuitive design, and market research became a multi-headed hydra of obsession. So he rebuilt a website for a fellow author and friend, which turned out better than he’d hoped. One thing led to another, and soon Damian was working on projects for a publishing services company, nonprofit ministries including Bibles for the World and Bethany Urban Development, and the occasional secular business. He has since found a home among the hard-working and steadfast minds behind the Christian Editors Association. Learn more at Need for Speed Marketing.
